Zinedine Zidane is reportedly warming to the idea of taking over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
Reports this week have claimed that United are preparing to move on from Solskjaer after a poor start to the season.
The Red Devils are currently sixth on the table and sit nine points behind league leaders Manchester City.
Having previously resisted overtures from United, Zidane is now keen to work with his former Real Madrid players Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Record, United hope Zidane's relationship with these two key players can tempt him to join the club.
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is also reportedly high on United's wishlist.
