Leite admitted yesterday meeting with Milan's South American chief Leonardo about Ronaldo's situation, revealing: "I want to be short and clear: Flamengo has the permission of Milan to deal with Ronaldo.
"Regarding the player, there already has been a first medical check and we appreciated his availability. Our doctor, Dr. Runco, is the one that carried out the checks on his physical condition and has already given his OK."
More talks are scheduled this week between the two clubs, with Ronaldo expected to sit in on negotiations. The Brazilian striker, off contract in June, is currently holidaying in Angra Dos Reis.
