Former Manchester United central defender Rio Ferdinand has included a number of players who featured in the Red Devils 2008 Champions League triumph in his 'team-mates XI'.
Ferdinand opted to go with a 4-2-3-1 formation for the United side composed of stars he played alongside during his time at Old Trafford.
Edwin Van der Saar was named in goals, behind a backline featuring Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Gary Neville and of course Ferdinand himself.
The midfield consisted of Michael Carrick and Paul Scholes in the central roles, with Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo on the left and right wings respectively.
Ferdinand struggled to make up his mind on who would play in the attacking third for the Red Devils, with Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez in contention alongside Dutch duo Ruud van Nistelrooy and Robin van Persie.
"I couldn't decide between the four strikers! They were all as deadly as they come. Who would you vote for?" Ferdinand told BreatheSport.
"Rooney has turned himself around from the street football player we all saw in his early years, to someone who is seeking out record breaking milestones.
"Vida was the best partner I ever played with. Strong, dedicated and would head brick walls! When he first arrived at United, I couldn't imagine him becoming the player that he did.
"Nobody could see how he would come through that first six months at the club but, with his sheer determination, he became one of the best centre backs in the world."
