Ronald Araujo has signed a new contract with Barcelona.

The Uruguay defender, after almost a year of negotiations, has put pen to paper on a new deal to 2026.

Araujo enjoys a bumper pay-rise and also an increase in his buyout clause to €1bn.

His previous €100,000-a-year deal had made him one of the lowest paid senior players at Barca.

The 23 year-old joined Barca in 2018 from Uruguay's Boston River.
