Manchester United have identified Sergio Romero and Jasper Cillessen as potential replacements for David de Gea, should the goalkeeper leave Old Trafford this summer.
De Gea has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid during the transfer window, however United are adamant a deal will only materialise if Los Blancos send them Sergio Ramos in return.
With Victor Valdes also rumoured to be leaving the Red Devils, Sam Johnstone likely to return to Preston North End on loan and uncertainty about the future of Anders Lindegaard, United's goalkeeping stocks appear to be very thin.
However, The Mirror is reporting contingency plans are already being made to address the situation, with Ajax's Cillessen and Argentine international Romero at the top of United's list.
Cillessen has reportedly already agreed to join United either this off-season, or next, depending on the situation surrounding De Gea.
Romero meanwhile, is an attractive free-agent proposition after parting ways with Sampdoria last month.
