Romeo Lavia was delighted to make a winning Manchester City debut in their Carabao Cup rout of Wycombe Wanderers.
The 17-year-old played was one of six Academy players to make their first senior appearance at the Etihad Stadium, where he played the full 90-minutes alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden in midfield.
“It was just crazy," he told mancity.com. “What a night. What an experience.
“I enjoyed every minute. It was great to be here, to be able to show what I can do. [It's] a night I'll never forget.
“Every week I have tried to keep a good level. Everything that comes, we have to be ready for. From there it is just about building and now I am so glad to here."
