Romain Alessandrini admits he turned down an offer from Hull City.

Former Marseille winger Alessandrini has hinted that he rejected a move to Hull City in January, according to the Hull Daily Mail, after he eventually joined MLS side LA Galaxy on Deadline Day.

"If it was to stay in France, I would have preferred to stay at Marseille," he told L'Equipe when asked about the interest from the Tigers.

"The other options were interesting, but moving to the USA really was a tempting gamble, and a really different one at that."
