AS Roma attacker Juan Iturbe is on the verge of joining Italian side Sassuolo on a season-long loan deal, according to reports.

Iturbe joined Bournemouth from Roma on loan in January last season but the attacker struggled at the Vitality Stadium, making only two Premier League appearances.

As a result, Bournemouth decided against signing Iturbe on a permanent deal this summer and it has been reported that the Argentine is set for another loan move away from the Italian capital, with Sassuolo reportedly keen on his services.

Iturbe, 23, is reportedly open to the move as he fears opportunities under Luciano Spalletti at the Stadio Olimpico will be limited during the 2016/17 campaign.
