Roma are planning a major double signing raid on Arsenal.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says the Giallorossi have already seen enough of on-loan Gunners midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles to push for a permanent deal.

And along with the England hopeful, Roma remain determined to prise Granit Xhaka away from Arsenal after last summer's frustrations.

Roma coach Jose Mourinho and sporting director Tiago Pinto are in agreement over both players.

Pinto plans to offer €30m for the pair, with Xhaka rated at €20m. Maitland-Niles' current loan doesn't include a permanent option.
