Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta has cooled talk of a move to Zenit St Petersburg.

The Italy international has been linked with Zenit since Luciano Spalletti's appointment last week.

But Perrotta says: "I am aware of the rumours, but I just signed a new contract. So, this sort of talk is simply a non-starter."
