Roma unveil new stadium plans

AS Roma have announced plans to have a new stadium built for the 2016/17 season.

It has been revealed that the Stadio della Roma will hold 52,000 fans, with the potential to extend to 60,000, and built on the site of the former Hippodrome in the Tor di Valle area.

President James Palotta admitted it will be a "modern 52,000-seater with state of the art technology" that will "strike fear into our opponents."
