Stephan El Shaarawy has ruled out returning to China after his international commitments with Italy.
The striker plans to return to Serie A in January and wants to bring an end to his Chinese Premier League career with Shanghai Shenhua.
Gazzetta dello Sport says El Shaarawy will instead stay in Rome and use two personal trainers to stay fit for the next international window in November for the games against Bosnia and Poland.
A return to Roma has been mooted for the Italy international in January.
El Shaarawy is willing to take a pay-cut on his Shanghai Shenhua wages to return to Serie A.
