Roma striker Gregoire Defrel is determined to prove his class.
The Frenchman joined the Giallorossi in the summer, but in 11 appearances so far he's yet to find the back of the net.
“I'm waiting to return to put in some good performances and rediscover the feelings of a few months ago," Defrel told Sky Italia.
“The goal will come soon. I'm lacking a bit of condition and strength but I'm calm and I want to show my worth. I know I haven't done much so far.
“There's definitely a big difference [with Sassuolo], there's more pressure here. I had a knee injury but now I'm back working and I'll get back scoring.
“I've read some things, but the transfer market is the furthest thing from my mind right now. I'm just thinking about Roma and doing well.
“We're going through a difficult period but we've proven we're a great team both in the league and Champions League, we've had difficulties due to injuries.
“It's a difficult period and we're not looking for excuses. The break has allowed us to recover physical and mental energy and we'll find a win."
