AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko admits he has no explanation for their poor form.

The Giallorossi are ninth in Serie A.

"It's difficult to explain," Dzeko said.

“We've done very well in the Champions League this year, with the exception of Madrid, maybe it's because there are fewer matches in Europe and we need to give everything.

“We should do the same in Serie A, but maybe some think it's easy to win against Bologna, Spal and Chievo when that's not the case.

“Serie A is a difficult, tactical league and you always have to give 100 per cent."
