Roma striker Abraham thrilled with AC Milan equaliser to complete stunning comeback

Tammy Abraham was thrilled to score the equaliser for AS Roma's 2-2 draw with AC Milan.

The Giallorossi managed an extraordinary comeback from 2-0 down to hold the reigning Champions of Italy at San Siro in a 2-2 thriller.

"We know it's a difficult place to come, we had to be patient as they defend well, they attack well and the chances are very small," Abraham told DAZN.

“I don't know what it was, but I was talking to myself in my head when we got the free kick and said I had to be ready. When I saw Matic go up for the header, the keeper saved it, the ball came to me and thank God I was in the right place."

Abraham added, “We are building more and more. I said before the break we're gonna come back stronger, so a win and a draw, I'm sure it was a good performance today for the fans and we need to carry on like this. We're in the right place."
