Roma sports director Tiago Pinto: Mourinho and I still have much to achieve here

Roma sports director Tiago Pinto insists coach Jose Mourinho still has much to achieve with the club.

Ahead of tonight's Europa League final against Sevilla, Pinto reflected on the two years together with Mourinho.

He told SIC: "Since the Friedkins bought the club, we have greatly improved the installations of the Trigoria Sports Center. To date, we have 5 perfect training pitches for the main team, something we did not have before.

"In Portugal we are used to looking at every detail, because you have to try to do the best possible in detail in order to be able to compete with the top clubs in Europe and I certainly took a lot of ideas from Benfica.

"(Working with Mourinho) is what all of you can imagine. He is a very demanding person, who despite being 60 years old and 26 titles, continues with the same ambition and motivation as when he was 30.

"What we do together is a profound work, it is not a work that can be evaluated based on the result of this final. We still have a lot to do for this club. We know that football always has surprises and we can never guarantee 100% what will happen in the future, but for my part the intention is to continue working together."
