AS Roma signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan says the Premier League is now in the past for him.
The Armenia captain had his presentation this morning.
He stated: "I left England for Roma, I don't want to talk about the Premier. I want to concentrate here and by choosing this club I don't feel I have taken a step back.
"I had somehow been warned it was time for a change. This opportunity presented itself and I jumped at it with enthusiasm. No matter where you play, but there must be joy in playing. At Arsenal I no longer felt this pleasure."
Mkhitaryan also stated: "It was my desire to leave. I had decided to change. I chose Roma because I knew that it would play European competitions and lots of matches. For Arsenal it won't have been an easy decision to let me go on loan."
