AS Roma are seeking a 'low-profile' replacement for departing sports director Monchi.

Monchi's contract was terminated by mutual consent last week after the dismissal of coach Eusebio di Franceso.

Corriere dello Sport says Roma have discarded the idea of bringing back Walter Sabatini nor moving for Inter Milan's Piero Ausilio.

Instead, they're considering Gianluca Petrachi of Torino and Napoli's Cristiano Giuntoli.

Both candidates are happy to work in the background and do not seek publicity - qualities appealing to Roma's board.
