Roma see off Everton to re-sign Arsenal keeper Szczesny

Roma are confident they have a deal in place for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

The Giallorossi struck terms with the Gunners over a new 12-month loan last week. However, Everton made a last ditch approach to Arsenal on the weekend.

Sky Italia says the agreement is rock solid and Szczesny is flying to Italy to resume preseason with Roma.

A presentation to the local media is slated for Thursday.

Last season, Szczesny played 42 games with Roma.
