Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has emerged as a target for Roma.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Roma could look to sign Lovren on loan this summer.

The Serie A outfit have previously been linked with a move for the Croatian international but landed Chris Smalling on loan from Manchester United instead.

But now Lovren could be a replacement for Smalling.

The Reds defender is expected to leave Anfield this summer and has also fielded interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.
