Roma refuse to give up their bid for Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri.

Tuttosport says Liverpool are braced for a battle to keep hold of Shaqiri as Roma have renewed their interest in the midfielder.

The Reds turned down a loan bid from Roma earlier this month for the Swiss star, who has struggled to force his way into Jurgen Klopp's side.

But Roma are looking to offer Shaqiri a route out of Anfield, having switched their attentions back to the Liverpool man after missing out on Inter Milan's Matteo Politano.
