AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini was delighted to be part of their 5-0 Champions League win over Viktoria Plzen.

Pellegrini played further forward on the night.

“We are very happy, it was important to win on Saturday and tonight, as after a few slip-ups we've won three in a row," Pellegrini told Roma TV.

“We have to continue like this and get even stronger. I don't know that we're missing anything to be a complete side. We had some difficulties with many changes at the start of the season, but we've found ourselves again and must keep going.

“I am happy with this role, as I had already played there a few times for Sassuolo, even if it wasn't my main position. I am happy to send teammates clear with through balls and when they score, it feels like I've scored too."
