Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini says they're responding to coach Jose Mourinho's methods after victory over Salernitana.
The captain struck net twice in a 4-0 victory at the Stadio Arechi.
“It was not an easy game, in my view, because it was tough finding that first goal. We managed to break the deadlock at the start of the second half and it was all much easier from there," Pellegrini told DAZN.
“It was a great team performance, my teammates allow me to be in all these different positions."
On the prospect of a title challenge, he added: “We hope one day to make that dream come true. It does feel different this year, we are told to take it one game at a time, and this time it really is the approach we take. We will never speak about the next match, no matter how important it is, until this one has been played."
