AS Roma midfielder Erik Lamela is looking forward to working under new coach Zdenek Zeman.

Lamela joined the Giallorossi last summer from River Plate, but he had an inconsistent campaign under Luis Enrique.

"Zeman will be ideal for me," the 20-year-old stated of the 4-3-3 tactician. "I can't wait to start working under him.

"Next season I want to succeed and become a star of the Italian championship."
