AS Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi is surprised by his progress this season.

Florenzi has become a first-team regular under Zdenek Zeman.

"I didn't expect to play so much," said the boy, who has scored twice in 16 League games for the Giallorossi, to Sky Sport Italia.

"But I was always sure that I could have my say in the team and I always give my best out there. I'm young and I want to improve by doing everything that Zeman asks of me."
