Roma have made a last-ditch attempt to sign Dejan Lovren from Liverpool.

The Croatian defender has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield.

The Reds will allow Lovren to leave but have so far not been impressed by offers from other clubs.

According to local outlet, Corriere dello Sport,Roma have returned with a new offer after initially falling to sign the 30-year-old on loan.

The Giallorossi are willing to pay £15m for the former Lyon centre-back.
