Roma legend Francesco Totti says Jose Mourinho should remain in charge.

The Roma coach is being linked with the Portugal job after Fernando Santos stepped down yesterday.

It's been suggested Mourinho could split duties between Roma and Portugal.

But Totti insists: "I think that if he has the opportunity to train a club it is right that he continues only with the club."

Asked about Mourinho's row with Rick Karsdorp, he added: "I don't want to get into the matter because I don't know the facts, only they know what happened but the coach can control everything."
