Roma great Francesco Totti says Jose Mourinho has re-energised the club.

Totti is happy seeing Mourinho now in charge of the Giallorosso.

He told Sport: "I hope Roma finish the championship in the top four so as to play the next Champions League.

"I think Mou is a great coach and can lead the team to the top in Italy. The Roma fans don't have much patience because they haven't won anything for a long time, but with the arrival of Mourinho there is a lot of hope of regaining a title.

"That's what the fans need."
