Roma are confident keeping hold of Henrikh Mkhitaryan next season.
Currently on-loan from Arsenal, there's been talk of the Gunners pricing the midfielder out of a permanent deal this summer.
Complicating matters is Mkhitaryan is coming off contract in a year's time.
But Il Tempo says a compromise is close to being found where Arsenal will extend Mkhitaryan's deal ahead of him spending another season on-loan at Roma.
The key will be Arsenal's insistence of an obligatory permanent option being accepted by Roma.
