Aston Villa and Arsenal face competition from Roma for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League trio Aston Villa, Arsenal and Leicester City while Roma's Italian rivals AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in the France Under-21 international.
The Sunday Post reports Roma are concerned that their plan to pay the £20m Celtic value Edouard in a series of payments could allow other clubs to swoop for the player.
Edouard is likely to depart Celtic this summer after Rangers were confirmed as Scottish Premiership champions on Sunday, ending a decade of dominance by the Parkhead club.
Edouard will enter the last year of his contract when the season finishes and was said to be valued at around £35m but the coronavirus pandemic and his deal winding down looks likely to reduce Celtic's asking price.
The 23 year-old was reported to be on the verge of a £15m move to Leicester with Brendan Rodgers, his former boss at Celtic, viewing him as a potential long-term successor to Jamie Vardy.
Villa could look to add to their striking department this summer, with Ollie Watkins backed up by Keinan Davis this season.
