Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta is being linked with a return to Italy.

Calciomercato suggest Roma are the new frontrunners for the 26-year-old, especially as they are strongly tipped to appoint Torino boss Gianluca Petrachi as manager.

It was Petrachi who signed Zappacosta for Torino four years ago.

Chelsea are cautious about offloading players as they wait to see if their two-window transfer ban will be lifted.
