AS Roma are keen to re-sign Tottenham winger Erik Lamela.
The London Evening Standard says Roma are considering a move to take Lamela back from Tottenham.
The Argentine playmaker left the club to join Spurs in the summer of 2013 for £30million - a club-record fee for the north Londoners - but he has struggled to find his best form in the Premier League.
Lamela suffered with injury in his first season and even though he has played regularly this term under countryman Mauricio Pochettino, the 22-year-old is still searching for his first Premier League goal.
There is little chance of Lamela leaving White Hart Lane in January but if he cannot impress in the remainder of the season, Spurs would listen to offers. As well as Roma, Inter Milan are monitoring the situation following the return of Roberto Mancini as their manager.
