Sevilla chief Joaquin Caparros is prepared to see Steven Nzonzi sold this month.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Roma have been encouraged in their pursuit of the France World Cup winner.

Caparros has asked Nzonzi not to comment this week ahead of the European Super Cup clash with Real Madrid, nor to even attend the game. Caparros feels the midfielder's presence would be a distraction.

He has also assured Nzonzi they will assess his situation after the match.

The developments have encouraged Roma chief Monchi, who is eager to be reunited with his former Sevilla signing.
