Roma want to keep hold of Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta next season.
Zappacosta joined Roma in August on a season-long loan, but has been sidelined since September due to a knee injury.
The defender is expected to play again this season and Roma want to keep him into the next campaign.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Roma wish to extend Zappacosta's loan into a second season and aim to pick up talks with Chelsea this week.
The former Torino defender has a contract with Chelsea until 2022.
