Roma coach Spalletti delighted with victory over Chievo

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was delighted with their 3-0 win over Chievo.

Radja Nainggolan, Antonio Rudiger and Miralem Pjanic struck the goals.

“Today we sent the message that we want to win, we rediscovered our fans who gave us enthusiasm in return," the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“The team did what it had to do. It was an entertaining match and I think everyone had fun, which is what it always should be.

“We have one of the best directors out there, Walter Sabatini, so we must be ready if something should happen over the summer.

“You can find the quality of players if we are careful. It becomes difficult if you try to hold on to someone who wants to leave at all costs, although I have to say I've not seen anyone who fits that description in the locker room. If anything, they are all eager to stay at Roma."

Among the transfer targets for clubs like Chelsea is Radja Nainggolan, who scored his sixth goal of the season today.

“He has this quality of inserting himself into the channels and has an easy shot about him, so he can get anywhere. He has become an excellent midfielder.

Diego Perotti is a bit like Nainggolan, as they both sneak up on defenders and nobody knows who is supposed to be marking them.

“Our team plays with ball to feet, so I decided to work on that passing movement and control the game that way. Now we play some really good football and the players make the difference with their quality."
