Roma coach Claudio Ranieri was delighted with David Pizarro's performance in their 2-1 win over Inter Milan.

The Chile midfielder is a former Inter player and was outstanding on the night.

Ranieri said: "David Pizarro was wonderful tonight. He makes the difficult things seem easy, sets the tempo and always knows what to do. He is irreplaceable.

"At times he can try to do some tricks in his own penalty area, which is worrying! I know he's always calm, but that's over-doing it!"
