AS Roma coach Paulo Fonseca refused to blame the referee after their 3-3 draw with AC Milan.
Piero Giacomelli gave two controversial penalties on the night.
But Fonseca says: "I don't have to comment, we all have days where we make mistakes. He still made mistakes for both teams.
"The good thing is that we scored three goals, it's not as good that we conceded three.
“It was an even game, we started by conceding a goal but we reacted well and with courage.
“It's not what I wanted, because I wanted to win. But after everything that happened, after being under three times, I think it's a positive result.
“We want to be better than last season, our thoughts are only on the next match against CSKA in Europa League. I believe that the team is fine and is improving. We have confidence, we must have ambition."
