Roma coach Jose Mourinho is targeting a reunion with Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.
The playmaker is destined to end his career-long spell at Old Trafford at the end of the season when his contract expires. Lingard joined United at the age of seven in 2000.
Mourinho is ready to make a move as Roma registered their interest in snapping Lingard up at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.
The former United boss is looking at the Premier League for signings with previous exports Tammy Abraham, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Chris Smalling all proving massive hits.
It is also their impact that has alerted Lingard that his career might be better served away from England and in Serie A as he looks to make a late ploy to force himself into Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad this winter.
