Arsenal and Roma are continuing talks over a loan move for Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Sky Sports says a deal under discussion is for a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy – with discussions centred around the option price.

Maitland-Niles has started two Premier League games this season and hasn't featured since mid-November.

His contract is up in the summer of 2023.

The feeling at Roma is Jose Mourinho will be able to help Maitland-Niles rediscover his best form - as has happened with Tammy Abraham, who joined in the summer.
