Roma coach Jose Mourinho has been offered former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.

Il Messaggero says the PSG midfielder has been offered to Mourinho at Roma.

However, they also suggest the Giallorossi would struggle to pay the wages he earns at the Ligue 1 side. The 31-year-old joined PSG last summer after failing to agree terms on a new contract to remain with Liverpool.

Wijnaldum's time in Paris hasn't quite gone to plan. He was named Ligue 1 Flop of the Year and also lost his place in the Holland squad due to a lack of game time for PSG.

Everton have also been linked with the veteran this summer.
