Roma coach Paulo Fonseca admits he never felt they'd score during their 2-0 defeat to Torino.
Roma had 30 shots on goal, but Andrea Belotti's brace decided the game.
Fonseca lamented, “It was not an attitude issue, as the team did many good things, including 31 shots on goal, but the ball didn't want to go in.
“I don't think we had a great performance, but we did create the chances to score goals.
“We had difficulties in building the moves out from the back, but still created three scoring opportunities in the opening seven minutes and one of those in would've changed the game.
“In the second half, we corrected a few things and did better. I think we could've played for well over 90 minutes tonight and it still wouldn't have gone in."
He added: “I expected Torino to play like this, defending and counter-attacking, so that was no surprise."
