Roma coach Fonseca happy with Zaniolo goal in Brescia win

AS Roma coach Paulo Fonseca was delighted with victory over Brescia on Saturday.

Roma won 3-0, with fit-again Nicolo Zaniolo getting on the scoresheet.

“It was important to win here today. We put in a good performance, it was important to maintain fifth place," said Fonseca.

“We are more aggressive with three at the back and it gives us the opportunity to press higher. There are many areas where we can improve, but victories are good to boost confidence. We created a great deal and should be more clinical in front of goal."

Zaniolo scored his first goal since his ACL injury in January.

“Zaniolo is an important player, so we use him when we can, but there isn't much time to get players back to full fitness with regular minutes. I like that we scored three goals today and didn't concede any, but we could've got more. I am satisfied."
