AS Roma coach Paulo Fonseca was delighted with their performance for last night's 3-0 Europa League defeat of Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Giallorosso scored three times in 15 minutes before halftime to settle the tie.
“I'm happy with the response the team gave," Fonseca told Sky Sport Italia.
“Our performance was positive in terms of attitude and courage, and I'm happy with how all my players fared.
“We had no possibility of making lots of changes because we've had many players unavailable and many of them are returning now."
Lorenzo Pellegrini was hit by a coin and needed bandaging up, but the coach assured he was “fine".
“He's fine, there are no issues with him."
