Roma are closing on a Bosman deal for Benfica goalkeeper Mile Svilar.

Svilar is off contract at the end of this season.

Sky Italia report Svilar has already passed his medical with Roma and signed the contract until June 2027.

He is expected to be the understudy to first choice shot-stopper Rui Patricio.

The 22-year-old was born in Antwerp and has played for Belgium at all the youth levels before switching allegiances to Serbia
