AS Roma have clinched the double signing of Genoa midfielders Iago Falque and Andrea Bertolacci.

The pair arrived at Roma for a combined fee of €16.5 million.

Bertolacci joins in co-ownership with Genoa, while Falque arrives in an outright deal.

Roma chief Walter Sabatini's swoop is another blow to AC Milan, which had hoped to sign Italy international Bertolacci.

Sabatini, however, is struggling to find an agreement with Cagliari over a deal for Radja Nainggolan.
