Roma chief Tiago Pinto has warned coach Jose Mourinho over demands to increase their transfer budget.

The Giallorossi are in Japan where they will play two friendlies.

In his first press conference, Mourinho complained about the lack of spending power at the club and how that affects their transfer strategy going towards the January window.

“Without doubt we keep the opinion of our coach in consideration," responded Pinto.

"But we also have to work within the Financial Fair Play parameters."
