AS Roma sports chief Tiago Pinto insists Tammy Abraham has their full confidence.

The former Chelsea striker has been linked with a return to England.

But Pinto says: "He always demands a lot of himse;f, if he does well he says he has to do better... But this also depends on his great value. Tammy as well as a bomber is a high quality footballer.

"Last season in the first few months he didn't score much but in the end he scored 27 goals. He knows he has to do much better from here to the end. For a competitive and winning Roma, Tammy is fundamental.

"I don't think he paid for (Paulo) Dybala's arrival because several Tammy goals came on Dybala's assist. And because Paulo is one of those players who improves those around him."
