AS Roma chief Monchi says they're keen to buy players who are better than what they have.

Roma have yet to make any market moves two weeks into the January transfer window.

“I won't talk about players who don't belong to Roma, but I want to make a little comment," the sporting director told Rai Sport.

“Yesterday I talked to the Coach. I talk to him every day and in fact, he said the same things that I said.

“We're looking for some players to raise our level but if we don't find them, we'll stay as we are."
