Roma boss Luciano Spalletti was pleased with Francesco Totti's performance for their 4-0 thumping of Crotone.
The veteran was handed a rare start by Spalletti for the win.
“It's a good victory, achieved with a great performance," Spalletti told Mediaset Premium.
“We were more determined in attack and that led us to finish off our chances more. We risked getting a bit bottle-necked at the start, as everyone wanted to attack, but we need to improve these aspects."
Totti turns 40 in six days, but was given his first Serie A start in precisely a year.
“I chose Totti because I expected it to be a difficult game to break down, as Crotone were going to defend solidly. With his one-touch passes, he always manages to create something.
“I would like the rest of the team to learn something from Totti and take him as an example."
