AS Roma boss Claudio Ranieri was pleased with Paolo Castellini in their Champions League win over FC Cluj.

It was the veteran defender's first start for Roma.

Ranieri said: "Castellini is a very good player and he has done his bit.

"He is a player who I respect and one that did well at Parma.

"He has adapted well. He gave security and had a good debut."
